Map the email configuration of a domain
Analyse the email configuration of a domain and its subdomains for free: MX servers, email provider, SPF, DMARC. A clear report, available for 30 days.
How it works
-
01
Enter a domain
Type a domain name and, if you wish, the address where the report link should be sent.
-
02
SenderRadar maps it
The MX, SPF and DMARC records of the domain and its known subdomains are collected and analysed from our own database.
-
03
Read the report
Email provider, SPF and DMARC status, identified subdomains: the report stays available for 30 days.
What MX, SPF and DMARC reveal
- MX
- The servers receiving the domain's mail, hence the email provider in use. See in the glossary
- SPF
- The servers allowed to send on behalf of the domain, and the validity of the declaration: DNS lookups used, final mechanism. See in the glossary
- DMARC
- The policy applied to unauthenticated messages (none, quarantine, reject) and the recipients of the reports. See in the glossary
Frequently asked questions
Is the service free?
Yes. Searches are limited per day, week and month; a free account raises those limits.
Where does the data come from?
SenderRadar relies on its own analysis database, updated continuously. Each report shows the date of its analysis.
Can I analyse a domain I do not own?
Yes. The records analysed are public: every mail server reads them to process a message.
Why does a subdomain I do not know appear?
It is publicly known and attached to your domain. The report shows what it exposes or inherits for email.
SenderRadar relies on its own analysis base to map the email configuration of a domain: MX servers and the provider behind them, the SPF record and its RFC 7208 validity, the DMARC policy and its level of protection. The analysis covers the submitted domain, its organizational domain and all known subdomains.
